Quinces by Maritza's first opened its doors as an alterations and custom seamstress design business named Maritza’s Boutique in September 2000. It was born from a leap of faith in a small space inside a cell phone store in Queens, NY. It quickly earned a loyal following thanks to its exceptional quality, custom designs, and warm, personalized service.

As demand grew, the boutique moved to a larger location just blocks away, making room for more sewing machines and a spacious cutting table. After September 11, 2001, Maritza relocated to Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where she rebuilt her dream in a welcoming community. Over the years, a small seamstress boutique evolved into a two-story showroom and workshop serving families across New Jersey and beyond.

Today, Maritza’s original vision has blossomed into Weddings By Maritza’s and Quinces By Maritza's—two specialized brands dedicated to life’s most meaningful celebrations:
